    Running Backs galore?

    It's well known that Tomlinson and Brian Westbrook are free agents. Surprisingly the Chargers let Sproles go too. Also there's rumors that the Jets will let go of Thomas Jones.

    None of these guys are going to be feature backs for anyone - Tomlinson, Westbrook and Jones are probably near empty tanks and Sproles is just a burner - but wow, a ton of flashy names at the position in this year's market.

    Rather draft a RB in round 3/4/5 than spend on one of these guys.

    I agree but I still disagree. If you could get a back like Westbrook for something cheap (I know this will never happen) to finish his career, that would be so beneficial to the team. An RB who has proven he can catch a pass on a flat and outrun the outside?

    The Lions haven't had a good outside running back with hands since... Doak Walker?

    I would be interested in the Lions signing one RB that was recently released - Ladell Betts.
